Team Kids

Project Snapshot:

  • Client: Team Kids (in conjunction with F4P Design)
  • Project completed: June 2020
  • Scope: Sourcing, supply and installation of furniture and fittings

AOFS were engaged by F4P Design to assist with the sourcing, supply and installation of office and breakout furniture and fittings for their client Team Kids. The project was completed on an extremely tight budget due to the tough conditions at the time as a result of COVID-19 but we were able to deliver a high quality fitout for the client within a very short timeframe.

We worked closely with the team at F4P to develop a furniture package that addressed several key issues for the client. Firstly the space was open plan and sound reverberation was a problem, particularly given that the area was going to be used as a call centre. The supply and installation of acoustic panelling to the walls, as well as acoustic partitions on the workstations was a key part of alleviating this problem.

We developed concept images of the entry foyer and kitchen/breakout zone to assist the client with visualising the spaces. There were several different ‘zones’ created throughout the fitout, from heads-down desk locations to chill-out and brainstorm areas, complete with beanbags, wall-to-wall whiteboards and mood lighting to suit.

The client was budget-conscious given the uncertain circumstances with COVID-19 and welcomed the option of re-using existing furniture wherever possible, as well as sourcing quality second-hand items that would complement the fitout. We were able to integrate pre-used task chairs, tambour storage and mobile pedestals into the space, and the client’s existing boardroom table and matching cabinetry and some existing workstations were relocated from their previous office and incorporated seamlessly into the new space. The AOFS team provided furniture relocation services for the project, including disassembly, transport, and re-assembly at the new location, as well as a complete maintenance check on all re-used items.
